Debate #2: The Veep's go Toe-to-Toe!

WOW!!!

This debate went EXTREMELY well for Vice-President Cheney! Despite what the Dems are willing to admit in public... while I was watching the debate I was just amazed at how quickly Vice-President Cheney can think on his feet, how much raw data he had on the tip of his brain, how composed he was capable of being... before last night I really didn't understand Cheney and I knew almost nothing about him... I definitely walked away from the debate last night glad that he is our Vice President and honestly hoping that he will be voted back in for 4 more years!

Something that I did not know is that he has been in government practically his whole life at VARIOUS levels from local, to state, to Congress and has been part of 2 or 3 Presidential Administrations prior to this current Administration. He is considered, due to his time spent in Government and how well-rounded he has been (in stark contrast to some Senators who just live their whole lives content at getting re-elected year after year into the Senate), to be the most senior member of government in the entire country! That is a GREAT asset, and I think it really showed last night!

He tore into Edwards last night on several issues at several times and really made Edwards look like a fool! In fact, Edwards stammered on a couple of issues and you could tell he was taken off guard a bit.
