The Cabin...

My friend Jeri and I went to stay up in the cabin at KQ Ranch Resort in Julian last weekend. For those of you who don't know who Jeri is she is my supervisor from work. She has been like a Mom and a good friend to me. Without her I don't know how I would ever make it here in San Diego when Brandon's gone. Her and I were both stressed out over our own individual lives and needed a break. We'd been planning this for a couple of months and it ended up being the perfect time for us to go. Our friends Kymm and Janice were both supposed to be there with us but were not able to make it at the last minute. Jeri and I went up Friday night after work and stayed until Sunday morning. We had a great time. We watched girlie movies, we went to the little town of Julian and just sauntered around and went through all the little shops, we went to breakfast, lunch and dinner in Julian and had their famous apple pie. We also drove to Lake Cuyamuca which was the fullest it's been in 15 years and we drove to the top of Mt. Laguna which was a very pretty site and also made me miss Utah very much.
Jeri and I just loved staying up there and didn't want to come back. We both came back very relaxed.
