Half Way Committee

Last night I went to dinner with my friends from the ships Half Way Party & Activities Committee. We just had our Half Way Hawaiian Luau Party last Saturday so we decided that just our group would go out to dinner since we all had become friends but hadn't had a chance for all of us to just hang out as friends. Rich treated us to dinner at Rancho el Nopal in Old Town. The restaurant was my idea. I love that place. That was the place my parents took Brandon and I to the first night I arrived in San Diego. The food is excellent there and the atmosphere is so authentic Mexican. They always have the mariachi band playing on the patio area. The people dress in Mexican attire. Needless to say it's a great place.
I love our group too. They have all been awesome and have helped me so much to be able to get through this deployment. Thanks guys!
