Brandon's Home!!!

Brandon is finally home from SouthPac! The USS Valley Forge pulled in to San Diego Friday (June 23rd) at 9am but Brandon and I were able to see each other before that. The ship pulled into Seal Beach (about 2 hours north of San Diego) on Monday and ran a shuttle in the evenings for the guys to come home and then they would drive them back to Seal Beach the next morning at 4am. Brandon was able to do this on Monday and Wednesday. Then the ship pulled out of Seal Beach on Thursday and pulled into San Diego on Friday. It was a small homecoming compared to last time but it was very nice still and appropriate for the amount of time they were gone. The homecoming went great. Brandon was about the 1st or 2nd person off after the new fathers. For lunch that day Brandon had his choice of any restaraunt he wanted to go to in San Diego whether it was expensive or not. He chose Taco Bell. It just goes to show how much he missed the little things here. We also went and saw Shrek 2 and he wanted to walk around an electronics store so we went to Fry's Electronics which is a really big electronics store and walked around for a while. Then Brandon wanted to get started on working out already so we went swimming and then we went to Souplantation for dinner. It was a great day! It is so awesome to have him home again!

Here are some pics of the Homecoming!!

Brandon gets a NAM!!!!

Brandon got a NAM medal!!! A NAM is one of the highest medals you can get in the military other than the Purple Heart. He got it for all of his work as the Work Center Supervisor of CA09 and all the maintenance they've had to do
in addition to him being a part of the SRT Team as well as all the Anit-Submarine Warfare exercises that they've done... basically it wasn't for any one thing, but rather for his efforts over the last couple of years.

I am very proud of him!!! His is my hero!!!

Brandon visits Panama for his third time...

Brandon was just in Panama again. He was there on June 2nd an 3rd. He was only able to go out on the land though on Thursday the 3rd. He was able to call me and we talked for an hour. He was tired but he had a good time in Panama.
He paid to go on an excursion that took them on an hour and a half bus ride to a nice beach with hammocks for them and they fed them a nice lunch. Brandon said he mostly relaxed in the hammocks and he swam in the ocean. He had a good time but he's ready to come home. We're both ready for him to come home!!

Heather turns 26 and visits Utah

I turned 26 on June 1st. For my birthday I flew to Utah over Memorial Day weekend. It was great. I saw my 10 month old nephew Jonah Moesser for the first time. He is adorable. Here is a picture of him.

I also got to see how much my other neices nephews have grown up. They are all so cute and I love them tons. Here is a pic of them.

Korbin, Morgan, Gavin & Madeline

Aren't they cute. Morgan was a little fussy as you can tell but she is an adorable baby.

On my birthday Brandon sent me a beautiful bouquet of flowers. I also received some gifts from friends and was taken out to lunch and dinner by friends at work.

Me with the flowers Brandon sent me.
